2017 Review: Boorowa Rovers

The Boorowa Rovers showed plenty of improvement in 2017 as the made the finals in both grades.

The Boorowa Rovers were the competitions most improved side as they catapulted their way from a last place finish in 2016, to third this year.

Having only won a single game last year, the Rovers won 11 matches as they finished on the same competition points, 29, with eventual premiers, Harden.

However, once the Rovers reached the finals they were bundled out in straight sets as they lost to Harden and 2016 Premiers, North Canberra.

In their first season playing in the League Tag competition, the Boorowa Roverettes made the finals in what was a fantastic effort.

The Roverettes managed to claim nine wins during the season and boasted the fifth best attack and sixth best defence.

 Boorowa were beaten in the first week of finals as they went down to Crookwell 22-20 in a tight affair.
