2017 Review: UC Grizzlies

The UC Grizzlies had a mixed season in 2017 as they enjoyed memorable wins but were unable to finish in finals contention.

Having won the NSWRL Tertiary Second Division competition in 2016, the Grizzlies proved themselves to be more than competitive in 2017.

Although they finished seventh, the Grizzlies proved that they could match it with some of the bigger sides in the competition as they claimed a memorable draw against Binalong and managed to defeat the North Canberra Bears.

The Grizzlies attack and defence ranked as the 8th best in the competition.

The UC Grizzlies claimed three wins in their first season of Ladies League Tag in the George Tooke Shield.

The Grizzlies managed to claim important wins against Binalong, North Canberra and ADFA but struggled to score points otherwise.

UC recorded the 9th best attack and 8th best defence in the competition.
