The winner of the Blumers Lawyers Good Sports Award is Joshua Hardy from the Yass Magpies.
Joshua, who coaches the Yass side in the Katrina Fanning Shield, was nominated by his opposition coach from the Gungahlin Bulls.
With the Bulls struggling with player numbers due to injury, Yass decided to level the playing field so all the players could enjoy the game.
“The coach of Yass was fantastic, he agreed to play 9’s due to our team losing players due to injury. Also at half time they agreed to lend us three players which helped out our team as they were giving our less experienced players a bit of instruction while on the field.”
Congratulations to all the players involved in this match and congratulations to Joshua Hardy who wins a $50 Raiders Group voucher that can be used at any of the Raiders Club Bistros.
The Raiders clubs are: Raiders Gungahlin, Raiders Belconnen, Raiders Weston, The Mawson Club and the Queanbeyan League Club.
