Congratulations to Suzie Goodall, Jason Tennant and Andrew Mead from the Gungahlin Bulls who have won the Blumers Lawyers Good Sports Award for their willingness to provide the Harden Boorowa Youth League side with strappers and trainers for their clash against Yass on the weekend.
Harden president Jason Pollard had the following to say:
We are small club and yesterday we had our Youth League side play at Yass whilst our other grades were at Harden. We are always pushed for strappers and trainers and yesterday our trainer was called to work at very late notice leaving us with no trainer or strapper.
The Gungahlin Bulls were playing at Yass before us and after. Basically, their trainers and staff went out of there way to help us strapping our boys, running water and attending to injuries throughout the game and afterwards.
It was great to see them help out and was really appreciated by the Harden Boorowa Youth League side. Well done Gungahlin.
Gungahlin Bulls president Brad Smith said his side wished to extend their gratitude to Harden Boorowa and acknowledge the polite and talented boys that play for them and the team for its great culture and team spirit!
Suzie, Jason and Andrew will receive a $50 Raiders Group Bistro Voucher to share that will be sent to the club shortly.
