The Goulburn Workers Bulldogs have announced the signings of Connor Brebner and Nic Whatman from the West Belconnen Warriors for the 2018 season.
New Head Coach Adam Kyle was thrilled with the two signings.
“Connor and Nic are great additions to our side,” Kyle said. “I’ve worked with Connor when he was a part of the Canberra Raiders SG Ball side, so I know how big of a talent he is and how much he will add to our forward pack.
“Nic will give us plenty of flexibility in our line up with his ability to play at either hooker or lock so I feel the club is on track for a strong season in 2018.”
Having been a part of the Warriors 2016 Premiership winning side, Brebner made 24 appearances over two seasons with the club.
Whatman, on the other hand, made 43 first grade appearances for West Belconnen over five seasons.
The signings of Brebner and Whatman are the third signings for Goulburn this offseason after Haydon Hodge joined the club early last month.
The former Australian Schoolboy will split his time between playing and coaching at the club.
