Match Report: Goulburn win at GIO Stadium

Four tries to Elle Hazelton has seen Goulburn comfortably defeat the Valley Dragons 34-0 at GIO Stadium on Friday night.

Goulburn put in a massive defensive display to keep the Dragons scoreless over the 60 minutes and run away as dominant winners.

It took just over twelve minutes for the first points which came with a swift movement down the right-hand side resulting in a try to Goulburn fullback Elle Hazelton.

Midway through the first half and Goulburn were in for their second when Hazelton crossed for another with this one coming down the left-hand side.

The remaining minutes in the half had both sides going end to end with no further score being added to see Goulburn lead 12-0 at the break.

Just over two minutes into the second half and Hazleton completed her hat trick in style with a grubber through the line in which she won the race to plant the ball down under the posts.

Three minutes later and the Goulburn side crossed again through Pearl Rakete who gave a nice show and go to score and extend the advantage.

Midway through the second half and Goulburn had their fifth try with Grace Marshall on the receiving end of a nice offload to score near the posts.

With three minutes remaining, Hazelton grabbed her fourth with a simple pass from dummy half putting her over out wide.
