The Queanbeyan Kangaroos have defeated the Gungahlin Bulls 36-0 at GIO Stadium on Friday night.
The Queanbeyan Kangaroos opened the scoring as Tamika Murphy found her way over the line before Jada Hartwig sprinted down the left edge to score a 40m solo try.
The Bulls fought back and enjoyed good field position but couldn’t convert their opportunities into points.
The Kangaroos added another try before the break as Lynn Orcher scored.
The Bulls started the second half brightly but their defence was broken after 12 minutes as Murphy scored her second of the night.
Queanbeyan added another two tries in quick succession when Natasha Brunhuber ran 70 meters to score before Emily Hopkins added another as the rain came down harder.
The Kangaroos showed no sign of slowing down and added yet another try in the dying moments as Bree Moreton ran the length of the field to seal their second win of the season.
