A first half try to Boomanulla’s Karen Lyons had helped the Buffaloes go into the sheds with the scores locked at 6-6.

However, the Blues came out firing in the second half as they claimed a 30 point win against the side that entered the round on top of the table.

The win sees the Blues move up to third on the ladder and level on points with the second placed Buffaloes.
