The Tuggeranong Bushrangers have announced that former Canberra Raiders and Manly Sea Eagles second rower Jarrad Kennedy will play with the club in 2019.
“I watched the Bushrangers play last season and they were very close to winning the Premiership so I am very excited to be playing with them next year,” Kennedy said.
New Tuggeranong coach Jarrad Teka is excited by the prospect of seeing the 29-year-old take to the field for the Bushrangers.
“Jarrad Kennedy comes to the club with a lot of experience and a great reputation so I’m looking forward to having him in the team and doing some work with him,” Teka said.
Kennedy joins the club after spending last season with the Mounties in the Intrust Super Premiership and is on the road to recovery after suffering an ACL injury. However, the second-rower is hopeful to be fit for Round 1.
Kennedy has over 50 games of NRL experience and was a part of the Canberra Raiders Under 20’s team that won the inaugural Nation Youth Competition in 2008.
